A shrub will cost you 2500 gold coins (or 10 smurfberries), and can only be purchased from level 21 onwards. Note: To grow acorns and pears you will need to plant a shrub. (This appears to be the last Alchemist Smurf quest).

  • Grow 20 crops of lettuce (16 hours, cost 18 gold coins per crop, gives 160 XP, 60 gold coins per crop).
  • Grow a crop of Pears (48 hours, cost 38 gold coins, gives 540 XP and 114 gold coins).
  • Grow a crop of Acorns (24 hours, cost 20 gold coins, gives XP 300 and 60 gold coins).
  • So far I’ve had four other quests from Alchemist Smurf In order:

The upgrade seems to have made the Papa Smurf mixing game harder. Sometimes if you go back you can mix the potion without having to add a potion to it – seems random, but that appears to be the way it is.

If you add the wrong potion it destroys the potion you are mixing, but you are able to go back into the game and try again without having to spend smurfberries. When you see “add” and an arrow pointing up to a shelf with potions – the one you need to add is brighter than the other ones. I have, however, managed to successfully add a potion whilst mixing. In order to mix the yellow potion I did not have to “add” a potion from the shelf (which is a new feature of the potion mixing game). This meant I had to wait a whole 36 hours before I could play the game again and mix the yellow potion (Papa Smurf’s lab used to close for about 6 hours I think – so the 36 hours seems to be new). Annoyingly I had just played the potion mixing game to make an orange potion. I guess it is similar in concept to the golden pick in Miner Smurf’s game.Īlchemist Smurf gave me a quest to mix a yellow potion. I haven’t bought it so I’m not sure exactly how it works but apparently it makes mixing potions easier. A “mixing flask” has also been added to the potion mixing game and can only be bought for a cost of 20 smurfberries. These are classified as Easy (250XP), Medium (400XP) and Hard (600XP) – in that order. Upgrading unlocks three new potions, a yellow potion, a green potion and an orange potion. Once Papa Smurf’s house has been upgraded it will look different. The red roof will change to white and have an astro theme (similar to Alchemist Smurf’s hat). You can do this for a cost of 500 gold coins. Shortly after he gets there you will be given a quest to upgrade Papa Smurf’s house.

Like Marco Smurf, you’ll have to send smurf(s) out to look for him. You need to wait for a Papa Smurf quest for him to arrive. The idea is that you visit your friends villages to see if he is there and if you find him you will get a “daily reward” – I haven’t added any friends so I can’t visit any other villages which probably means that I am not going to see him ever again!Īlchemist Smurf comes to your village some time after level 23. Marco Smurf’s role in the village is to gather spices from far off places and other villages, so after he arrives he immediately leaves again. I can’t remember exactly but I think it was 3 smurfs and it took 12 hours. He will ask you to send some smurfs to look for him. He only appears after a Papa Smurf Quest. Here’s a quick summary of what it includes, and some performance issues I’ve experienced since I updated.Ī new character called Marco Smurf (after Marco Polo) appears from level 16 onwards.
